Your only clue as to how many are listening
is based on how many choose to participate in some intrusive survey,
an activity I'd guess is shunned by folk in Pacifica's audience.

That is pretty much the stock answer by stations... or partisans of
stations... that do terribly in the ratings.

It's amazing that forty-some other stations have listeners, and many more
listeners, who do participate in ratings polls.

And, even if it had listeners, which it does not, KPFK has no "entitlement"
to protection from interference in the San Diego market area.
