My 1995 Jeep GCL's AM/FM Radio only uses a Whip Antenna -HEY- Wait a minute just about every Car and Truck on the Road uses 'only' a Whip Antenna -and- They all generally get better AM & FM Radio reception then most Home Radios with an AM/MW Ferrite Rod Antenna. FWIW - The Grundig Satellit 800-M only has a 4" AM/MW Ferrite Rod Antenna. - - - The Ferrite Rod Antenna is the better Bi-Directional Antenna. I think we agree....a rod antenna can work on am. |
