Terminated Tilted Folded Dipole (T2FD) Antenna
-for- Shortwave Radio Listening (SWL)

David,

While the B&W Terminated Tilted Folded Dipole (T2FD) Antenna
T2FD - http://www.bwantennas.com/ama/fdipole.ama.htm
T2FD - http://mywebpages.comcast.net/smithab11/T2FD.htm

is a Low Noise and Broad-Banded Antenna. It will not acomplish
the same Noise Reduction for local 'point-source' Man Made Noises
like using two Antennas : a larger SWL Receiving Antenna; and a
smaller Noise Pick-up Antenna; using a Combiner {Signal Phasing
Unit}.

Wellbrook makes a Universal Magnetic Balun UMB T2FD which
is a Receiving Antenna Balun with a 9:1 Impedance Ratio, and an
integral 500 Ohm 5W Thick Film Termination Resistor to build your
own "Tilted Terminated Folded Dipole" {T2FD) Antenna around.
