That jack has been a staple on Grundig radios for about three decades. Before that, they opted for the familiar (at least to those who have worked with car radios) Motorola pin jack. I actually found that kind of nice with my old Grundig Transistor 1000, as I could use it in the car for SW and FM and it was a very good performer connected to a car antenna. |
