The IBOC is turned on during daylight hours. Wipes out everything 7
khz either
side of their center carrier. Sucks major ass. Whomever invented IBOC
should
be tossed against a wall and shot with 100 rounds from a .50 Cal

That would be the jackal-faced JB, Robert Struble, iBiquity Digital,
Columbia, Md. At all costs, the mighty dollar for the JB!

I seem to remember it being more like peaks 12.5 kcs on either side,
guess I'll have to fire up the spectrum scope and have another looksee.

That would be a huge waste of munitions.

3 9mm, or 1 well placed .45 would do it.

More would do the guy too much honor.

If you're hearing IBOC on 770, try LSB. It LSB is louder than USB, the
the IBOC is coming from 780. If USB is louder than LSB, the IBOC is coming
from 760.

(note opposite direction from what you'd expect.)

To check that (say) 780 is in fact IBOC, listen to 780 in LSB or USB.
If you hear a diesel rumble, IBOC is on.
