petitioned the government to stop the sales. Promising that the
Christians would be returning. These are primarily Muslims. Petitioning
the government to let them care for, maintain, and ready the homes for
Christians whom they were fully convinced would return. And so far,
these Muslims have been right. Christians are returning to Baghdad.
Welcomed as the brethren they are, by their Muslim neighbors.

* * This return of Christianity has resulted in some amazing moments of
unity. One was the opening of a new Catholic Cathedral. This is in
Baghdad, now. A new Catholic Cathedral. And on the first day of worship,
the faithful could barely get near the place for all the Imams and
Mullahs, from the Muslim community, lined up halfway down the block, to
shake the hand of the Catholic Priest in his new house of worship. These
are Muslims, lining up to shake the hands of the Catholic Priest. In
Baghdad.

* * The construction of the Cathedral, itself, is something of a wonder.
