Give it back to the British. Those *******s carved it out of the
remnants
of the old Ottoman Empire in 1921 and the place has been a basket-case
of a country ever since. Oh the British did it mainly to grab the oil
reserves
around Mosul and Kirkuk in the last century just like we are trying to
do now by setting up "Greater Kurdistan" and GET OUR HANDS on all
that oil via the Kurdish minority and hopefully bribe-off the Turks to
let us
build a massive oil pipeline to the Med Sea on Turkey's western
border
seaport. As usual it all about f--king oil. Same shi+ different day.
The place
was probably better off under Saddam, adleast he knew how to keep the
rabble under control.

I say sent in dubya and the whole bush crime family. add to that all
the low life's in congress and the senate. while were at it, send in
those low life's from the un-supreme court. and bring the boys home.
and while were at it, why don't i see anyone bragging about- "I voted
right, I voted etc."? the damage is done. it will take years to bring
our country back. and, if you think we will see any change with the
next election, take a close look who's running. we have a man with no
time in fed gov. a women with no idea what's going on in the world, and
a left over Nancy boy from the Viet Nam era. i want to call the last
one a coward, but i won't call a fellow veteran that. you want to know
what he really did in the war, use google.

You hit it right on the head about who we have running for President.
Nothing but a bunch of corporate controlled lackeys that are against the
average American. So much for the constitutional republic called the United
States.

After you get any of the three, you can expect the SHTF. You've got a woman
with no clue how to be a president and to lead other than socialist psycho
babble talk. The other is talking about change but you rarely hear him
express what changes will take place. The other clueless clown wants to keep
us in Iraq for 100 years meanwhile our economy goes into the drain, our
borders are broken, etc.

You can list the problems this country has at this point from falling home
values, to a stagnant economy, to high oil prices, to skyrocketing food
prices, credit crunch, foreclosures, etc.

Not to mention a skyrocketing national debt owed to Europeans, Japanese, and
Chinese. That's your so called fiscal conservatism, isn't it boys?

Gee, that's funny while your boy McCain bailed out Keating and his cronies.
Not to mention divorced his wife after she was paralyzed in a car accident.
Or how about him being the snitch for Hanoi. Before blowing your mouth off,
maybe it wouldn't hurt to find out what a lot of the other people at the
Hanoi Hilton Hellhole really thought of McConvict.

Huh?????

Thank a liberal?

The Republicans have been in power for over 7 years; Republicans in
general (and this Administration in specific) have been (notoriously)
pro big business (as in Exxon, banking, the mortgage companies, etc,
etc) and yet you say "Blame a liberal" for the housing mess and the
energy mess. Are you are saying the Republicans are liberals?

If this isn't just a knee-jerk reaction on your part, you have some
'splaining to do cuz ALL of the above happened on those liberal
Republican's watch. The buck stops there...

a) I'm glad that you do stand by your statements...or at least -most- of
your statements, other than saying you were going to quit the newsgroup.
(Sorry, just thought I would beat mII to the punch) ;-)

b) but I am asking that you -explain- your original statement. As all
these nasty financial things are happening on the Republican's watch, it
certainly seems like you are implying the Repubs are liberals...?????????

I really don't want to say this, my many shortwave friends, but
I find that I am giving up far to much of my increasingly valuable
time here on RRS trying to educate the faux, the debutantes, and
those who tote..

Therefore, I've simply decided to give up RRS.

Goodbye, I sincerely hope that you all find your niche in the
