Default Clipperton Island

Hi all!

Ham operators will soon be landing on Clipperton Island and will be
activating this much sought after entity. The plan is to operate on all of
the ham bands, frequencies listed below, for about 10 days, March 7 to 17.
If any of you heard the recent Ducie Island operation, this should be just
as easy, if not easier.

J.

The Spratly Islands DXpedition is sked to begin on March 22, another interesting
one.

Your right Art. I wasn't paying attention and over looked it. I guess
normally we take reading these frequencies for granted and interpret them
ito megaHertz without realizing it.

Come to think of it 7007 megahertz would've actually been 7.007 gigaHertz!
Way off frequency!!

They'll be operating as TX5C.

final touches on our camps. It is a bit hotter this morning than yesterday but

CW and SSB stations operational sometime today and will be on the air most likely
starting this evening."

And as always, don't do business with the Huntington Investment Company, in
particular a fellow named Joseph Klein.

Last minute preparations underway. I'd look for them to hit the airwaves
between 2100z and 0000z.

WOW! It's 0920z and no on-air activity yet. Also no update to the website
either. That's interesting. Hope everything is OK and will be up soon.

I just heard through the grapevine that they've apparently some bad weather
there.
