Documentation by the GAO of FCC's inability, if not unwillingness, to

The parasites (government bureaucrats) stopped fulfilling their
responsibility to protect American citizens decades ago. They now
serve the interests of their corporate masters. They barely feign to
disguise this fact any longer because it is so transparently obvious.

The only role the American public has in the process is paying their
bloated salaries and the gravy train of benefits (health care,
vacation, retirement pensions, ad naseum) that real working folks can
only dream of having.

It is not just the FCC. Witness the FDA allowing China to poison the
American public with tainted food and products. Witness the Dept. of
Agriculture allowing 140 million pounds of beef from sick cattle to
enter the marketplace. Witness the Dept. of "Defense" allowing
$9,000,000, 000 cash disappear in Iraq with no explanation. You could
go through every government department and find like outrages.

From a Machiavellian perspective one must admire what the corporate
oligarchy has so successfully effected in the USA. Instead of fighting
with the only entity that could possibly stop their criminal agendas
they simply co-opted it. And as if to put icing on the cake, they have
the American taxpayer pick up the tab. Brilliant.

That about says it all and it's the reason I no longer consider
myself an American Citizen as well. I am one by birth but that's
about it.
