Default Slick Willie & Hillary

Now this movie is going from hilarious to sad to tragic. Slick Willie
continues to embarrass himself in his desperate attempt to remain
relevant. He engaged in yet another shouting match last night with a
spectator during one of his weak West Virginia rants.

Today he boarded his private "**** jet" and headed out to the sticks
of South Dakota and was unable to even attract enough people to fill
the local high school gymnasium to listen to his bizarre rantings.

Meanwhile Hillary, obviously still living in the personal fantasy land
that only exists in her mind, appeared in New York begging for more
money for her campaign.

Judging from her appearance, one of the first casualties of budget
cuts must have been her make-up artist ( a true "miracle worker").
Looking haggard and no longer even attempting to conceal the bags
under her eyes she strutted around stage while continually jabbing her
finger in the faces of the sparse crowd yelling that she was going to
win "this thing"! How sad.

It really does appear that some type of "intervention" is in order
before she loses what little dignity she has left. Hopefully her loved
ones with break the news to her sooner rather than later.

Beholding this pathetic spectacle, one could almost marshal a bit of
sympathy for them were they not such completely loathsome individuals.
However, it is what it is - the end of a national nightmare.

Indeed a delicious moment in American history. Savor every moment of
it.

You can say what you want but if he ran today, he would win in a landslide.

That says more about the incumbent than the hypothetical candidate.

"Hypotheticals" are nothing but mental masturbation. Nonetheless, you
are still wrong. Democratic insiders are ecstatic that the Clintons
are finally being purged from the power structure. Bill Clinton was a
disaster for the Party and insiders still are angry at him for costing
them majorities in both the House and Senate during his scandal ridden
administration.

Read Teddy Kennedy's remarks about the possibility of Hillary being on
the ticket with Obama. He officially distanced the Democratic Party
from the Clintons. They represent exactly what the Party doesn't want
(polarization) during this unique window of opportunity the
disastrous Bush regime has opened for them. They've hit the lottery
and are going to gain control of the White House, the Senate and the
House and they aren't going to let a Clinton screw it up for them
again.

So for your "hypothetical" to be true the Slickster would first have
to be able to get the Party's nomination and that wouldn't happen
(even if he were constitutionally eligible ).

The fact that he could probably beat any of them doesn't reflect well on
the general state of politics.

I must be living in a fantasy world, where elected representatives are
the cream of the crop...the best the population has to offer.

Sadly, the two principle parties both fall far short of what they
portray themselves to be.

In my fantasy world, crooked politicians would be dragged out into the
street and hung from lamp poles. That's a deterrent for other public
servants who would betray the public trust. The scum seem to forget
rather quickly who they are employed by and for what purposes.

My point was that he would still trounce any other candidate. Like him or
not, he was and remains a popular favorite.
Of course he is, as you point out, inelegible.

We understand your point clearly and you are still wrong. Bill Clinton
NEVER received more than 50% of the popular vote. In fact, he won the
the 1992 election by garnering only 43% of the votes cast.

He is even less popular today now that the American public has caught
on to his tired act. He is yesterday's news, old hat, trite, passe, a
worn out has been wannabee. To believe he would win the Presidency in
a landslide today is delusional thinking.

Now give it a rest.
