Any special frequencies you might suggest? Lastly, I want to offer a major THANK YOU to everyone who put up with my stupid questions and there were many I am sure. I appreciate it more than you know. Haci Hate to burst your bubble, but the S350 is a real piece of ****. Your starting to sound like Telimonkey! You guys brothers or what? You got your head in your pocket or what? The old Grundig S350 Radio was a pain to use on the Shortwave Radio Bands. While the newer Eton S-350DL Radio is a step-up and very usable to enjoy Listening to the Shortwave Bands. The Redsun RP2100 Radio is another step-up over the Eton S-350DL Radio. hence the old time radio expression "stay tuned" ~ RHF |

I have 2 of the earlier model 350s (not DL), and they both work fine. Well, he just has his opinion I guess. I like my new radio and I am having fun and enjoying it very much. Isn't that what this hobby is supposed to do: bring fun and enjoyment to the listener? I am pleased with my choice and once I really get into this, I am sure I will get a better radio. Remember, this is just my starter radio. I am sure most people here had a radio less than what they have now when they started out. Yes, I am happy and I am happy with all my helpful buddies here! Have a good night. Haci |

However I am interested in what most everybody has to say about theirs. Tell ya what if I come up with something SNIP Don't bother telling me anything unless it is on topic. I doubt you have a SW radio or care about the hobby but are just here to argue with someone. Prove me wrong. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

The Redsun RP2100 Radio is another step-up over the Eton S-350DL Radio. hence the old time radio expression "stay tuned" ~ RHF . You have unrealistic expectations of the radio. It is analog tuned with a variable capacitor just like the old time inexpensive tube radios. You have to expect it to drift with temperature. Turn it on and let the temperature of the radio stabilize and as long as the room temperature does not change the radio should stop drifting. The DL is supposed to have a frequency locking circuitry that is supposed to stop it from drifting. I'll go with that thought until someone reliable posts otherwise. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
