*American "HEROES" strike again. Gather your made in communist China flags and throw another parade lemmings! By KIM GAMEL, Associated Press Writer 2 hours, 35 minutes ago BAGHDAD - A U.S. helicopter strike north of Baghdad killed eight people in a vehicle, including at least two children, Iraqi officials said Thursday, insisting all the dead were civilians. The U.S. military said six were al-Qaida militants but acknowledged children were killed. AP Television News footage showed the bodies of three children in blood-drenched clothes — the eldest appearing to be in his early teens — along with the bodies of five men, at the hospital in Beiji, where the dead were taken after Wednesday evening's strike. he strike came as the U.S. was trying to ease Iraqi anger over the shooting of a copy of the Quran by an American sniper, who used Islam's holy book for target practice. In Afghanistan on Thursday, a NATO soldier and two demonstrators were killed at a violent protest over the Quran shooting. Whether declared or not.... justified or not..... War Is Hell especially when innocent people get hurt and killed. Remember 9/11... and the innocent people whos lives were cut violently short...including the little girl who never made it to Disney Land, never got to grow up, never got to share the love of a husband and have children of her own, and whos last moments were filled with terrified screams as they approached the tower... The US was so desperate to get evidence, ANY kind of evidence, they had to resort to plagiarizing ten year old web pages. (complete with spelling mistakes and typos.) You have that short a memory, Cato? Do you remember Colin Powell lying his face off in front of the UN? You have that short a memory, Cato? As for the inspections: ====================================== Iraq has on the whole cooperated rather well so far with UNMOVIC in this field. The most important point to make is that access has been provided to all sites we have wanted to inspect and with one exception it has been prompt. We have further had great help in building up the infrastructure of our office in Baghdad and the field office in Mosul. Arrangements and services for our plane and our helicopters have been good. The environment has been workable. Our inspections have included universities, military bases, presidential sites and private residences. Inspections have also taken place on Fridays, the Muslim day of rest, on Christmas day and New Years day. These inspections have been conducted in the same manner as all other inspections. We seek to be both effective and correct. http://www.un.org/Depts/unmovic/Bx27.htm ========================================== You have that short a memory, Cato? Remember April Glaspie? She told Hussein the States had no interest in the Iraq/Kuwait border dispute. Hussein was set up. ======================================= GLASPIE: I think I understand this. I have lived here for years. I admire your extraordinary efforts to rebuild your country. I know you need funds. We understand that and our opinion is that you should have the opportunity to rebuild your country. But we have no opinion on the Arab-Arab conflicts, like your border disagreement with Kuwait. I was in the American Embassy in Kuwait during the late 60's. The instruction we had during this period was that we should express no opinion on this issue and that the issue is not associated with America. http://chss.montclair.edu/english/furr/glaspie.html ================================================== ==== You have that short a memory, Cato? The whole mess is based on one lie after another. Euros VS Dollars? ========================================= Original Essay January 2003 Although completely unreported by the U.S. media and government, the answer to the Iraq enigma is simple yet shocking -- it is in large part an oil currency war. One of the core reasons for this upcoming war is this administration's goal of preventing further Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) momentum towards the euro as an oil transaction currency standard. However, in order to pre-empt OPEC, they need to gain geo-strategic control of Iraq along with its 2nd largest proven oil reserves. The second coalescing factor that is driving the Iraq war is the quiet acknowledgement by respected oil geologists and possibly this administration is the impending phenomenon known as Global "Peak Oil." This is projected to occur around 2010, with Iraq and Saudi Arabia being the final two nations to reach peak oil production. http://www.ratical.org/ratville/CAH/RRiraqWar.html ================================================== == |

Well, it didn't work. Looks like the euro IS becoming the standard for oil transactions (and Brazilian fashion models!). |

You don't know Jack, Rickets! http://www.baltimorechronicle.com/mediawise_jan01.html http://www.consortiumnews.com/2001/111201a.html In other words, the elite media’s judgment is in: "Bush won, get over it." Only "Gore partisans" – as both the Washington Post and the New York Times called critics of the official Florida election tallies – would insist on looking at the fine print. The Actual Findings While that was the tone of coverage in these leading news outlets, it’s still a bit jarring to go outside the articles and read the actual results of the statewide review of 175,010 disputed ballots. “Full Review Favors Gore,” the Washington Post said in a box on page 10, showing that under all standards applied to the ballots, Gore came out on top. The New York Times' graphic revealed the same outcome. Earlier, less comprehensive ballot studies by the Miami Herald and USA Today had found that Bush and Gore split the four categories of disputed ballots depending on what standard was applied to assessing the ballots – punched-through chads, hanging chads, etc. Bush won under two standards and Gore under two standards. The new, fuller study found that Gore won regardless of which standard was applied and even when varying county judgments were factored in. Counting fully punched chads and limited marks on optical ballots, Gore won by 115 votes. With any dimple or optical mark, Gore won by 107 votes. With one corner of a chad detached or any optical mark, Gore won by 60 votes. Applying the standards set by each county, Gore won by 171 votes. This core finding of Gore’s Florida victory in the unofficial ballot recount might surprise many readers who skimmed only the headlines and the top paragraphs of the articles. The headlines and leads highlighted hypothetical, partial recounts that supposedly favored Bush. Buried deeper in the stories or referenced in subheads was the fact that the new recount determined that Gore was the winner statewide, even ignoring the “butterfly ballot” and other irregularities that cost him thousands of ballots. |

You deny that Saddam acted as if he had something to hide?? How many times did he hinder the inspectors?? Deny them access to areas they wanted to see?? The man acted suspicious... and every country knew it. He certainly did not help the inspectors and act as if everything was hunky dory. Anyone that acts with me the way he acted... I would supect something was being kept from me.. This idiot... who's sons used wood chippers to kill opponents, (if they liked you.. you went in head first..if they hated you... you went in feet first)... asked for it.. If he had done everything the international community demanded... things would have been very different. "Friday, June 11, 2004 UN inspectors: Saddam shipped out WMD before war and after The United Nations has determined that Saddam Hussein shipped weapons of mass destruction components as well as medium-range ballistic missiles before, during and after the U.S.-led war against Iraq in 2003. The UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission briefed the Security Council on new findings that could help trace the whereabouts of Saddam's missile and WMD program. The briefing contained satellite photographs that demonstrated the speed with which Saddam dismantled his missile and WMD sites before and during the war. Council members were shown photographs of a ballistic missile site outside Baghdad in May 2003, and then saw a satellite image of the same location in February 2004, in which facilities had disappeared. .....The Baghdad missile site contained a range of WMD and dual-use components, UN officials said. They included missile components, reactor vessel and fermenters – the latter required for the production of chemical and biological warheads. In April, International Atomic Energy Agency director-general Mohammed El Baradei said material from Iraqi nuclear facilities were being smuggled out of the country. |

www.devilfinder.com Lake Razzaza Iraq Atomic Test
I once read at www.softwar.net that Saddam Hussein did send some WMDs to Syria and Russia.I think the article said Syria and Russia. Saddam Hussein used to have a ''tricked out'' car.The car had at least one propane gas tank in the trunk of the car.The tank was connected to some pipes that were aimed sideways under the car.If Saddam's ''admirers'' got too close, somebody in the car would push a button and flip a valve/whatever and burn their legs off. cuhulin |
