I am in Hobe Sound Florida, one mile from the ocean, and for some strange reason, MW DX is coming in from the Caribbean, last night I picked up WDHP, US Virgin Islands and other other antilles. I guess that is the only good thing about these damned hurricanes! -- The night Gustav hit New Orleans I was easily able to hear WWL 870 kc using SRIII I'm about 900 land miles away, and 60 miles from KRVN 880 kc (very powerful), so it takes a decent reciever for me to resolve them. |
