National polls are tightening. Battleground polls in states still in
play for the Electoral College totals aren't really. Look at the EC
totals. They're the one's that matter. With the exception of Missouri,
none of them seem any closer for McCain, and Obama's already way ahead
in the Electoral College totals. McCain may even win the popular vote
and still end up losing significantly in the Electoral College totals.
Remember what happened to Gore?

state polls are tightening considerably, florida, missouri, are
already even or a slightly ahead for mccain - i live in florida and
mccain is ahead here. obama is in trouble in pennsylvania. ohio is in
striking distance and the list goes on - this is just the beginning of
a 4 day charge - this will be extremely close on election day.

i'm telling you mike - obama is in deep **** and the obama camp knows
it!

I think it will get tighter. It almost always does as election day
approaches. But the RCP average shows Obama up 3.5 in Florida, almost
6 in Ohio and Pennsylvania is still close to 10. Remember, Obama only
needs one of those states to wrap up the magic 270 in the Electoral
College. I can understand your excitement, but the odds are still
really a long-shot. Did you look at the RCP totals on the solid blue
Electoral totals?

I think if Romney had been McCain VP pick this election would be a
whole 'nother ballgame at this point....(sigh...)

totally disagree - romney would have lost it for mccain - people hate
romney - no personality - palin will put mccain over the top, dispite
what the lefty media says - they are scared **** of palin - palin is
drawing bigger crowds than obama! and biden is a total joke who is
locked up in a trunk and the word is getting out that they won't let
him open his mouth. i'm telling you the next 4 days you will see a
major turnaround - the younger and hispanic vote is turning to mccain
- the numbers are skewed -

Well, maybe you're right, but I don't think so. I think a significant
early vote will be unaffected by any last minute shifts. The
consistent poll averages show the young and Hispanic breaking for
Obama, the African-American vote is at it's highest ever, and the
polls out over the last two days show a significant majority of even
Republicans feel that these serious times call for someone more
intelligent and aware of the issues than Palin is. I really considered
voting for McCain, he's a legitimate American hero. But I just can't
vote for a ticket where Palin is one heartbeat away from replacing a
man in his 70's who has active cancer. Biden has never got my support
in his past runs for the Presidency, but I think suggesting that Palin
is more qualified than him is a clear case of partisan hyperbole. I
understand your excitement and I won't be crushed if my favorite
Republican, John McCain, wins, but I don't think that's the way it's
going to break.

Good night and God Bless America.

Brainwashing occurs in many different ways. Don't forget that I
started this conversation off with a pitch for the even-handed
collection of opinion pieces on www.realclearpolitics.com. Also,
remember than even Fox News is a part of the "brainwashing media" you
seem so quick to blame everything on.

Having said that and looking over your last post, I don't think we
have enough in common to continue a meaningful conversation.

Let's both pray that God will guide and guard this nation, regardless
of which honorable candidate wins the election.

BB,

Presently Barack Hussein Obama looks to get around
333 Electoral College Votes and John "Smiley" McCain
the remaining.
http://www.electoral-vote.com/
Therefore McCain has to Win-Back 63 or more Electoral
CollegeVotes to Win and being very honest that does
not appear to be "Do-Able" but . . .

The dishonest polls and the lib.media like the NY Times, CNN, CNBC,
WaPo,LA Times, ABC et al have been trying to put the Big O for close
to 2 years now. If the polls have even an iota of truth, the McCain
Palin rallies should be sparse or even deserted. Unless my eyes are
playing tricks, the McCain Palin rallies are jam packed!

Guess what? Obama will be lose so spectacularly on Nov. 4th that the
smug Dems will not know what hit them!

Here are the reasons:

1. Americans are centrists and will never buy into the socialist
leanings of the Big O.
2. The "Frank" that the Big O said in his book had such great
influence on his views has been identified as Frank Davies, Prez of US
Communist Party
3. Obama was a member of the Dem. Socialist of America org and the
unconstitutional New Socialist Party, both of which bankrolled and
supported his run for the Senate.
4. His association with unsavory anti-American characters like Ayers,
Wright, Khalidi, Phleger etc. all of whom would have influenced and
shaped his thinking.
5. His "spread the wealth" slip of the tongue betrays his true
leftist leanings and if the Big O wins, the USA will gravitate towards
becoming the USSA and Americans will have to get used to calling each
other "comrades".
6. The frenzied attacks by the Dems and the lib media against Sarah
Palin and even Joe the Plumber from the get-go betrays their extreme
anxiety for the impact that these two bring to the McCain campaign.
7. The dishonest polls and the biased Lib media have got all Reps so
riled up that come Nov.4th, we'd be dragging every friend, relative
and next door neighbor to the polls.

Come Nov. 6th join me for the party of the decade when the Dems bite
the dust...yet again!
