The BBC has been reporting today that the Tamil Tigers are just about finished.
Noticed this log from earlier in the week indicating that propagation to Sri Lanka is improving: 11905, SRI LANKA, SLBC Colombo-Ekala *0020-0050, May 14, English. IS at s/on followed by choral-like vocal mx; brief Hindi-like mx at 0024 then W ancr w/ solid ID "This is the (English ?) service of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation.." & freq announcment; various mx selections followed w/ IDs & pips (5+1) at 0030 & 0045; first positive ID I've ever logged for this station; fair; checked // 7190 per T. Krueger tip but only AOR chatter noted. (Barbour-NH via DXLD) ============================================ dxAce Michigan USA |
