Duh, while I'm not fan of miltaristic colonialism, I hardly think that we were responsible for Hitler. Hitler did break dozens of threaties that were negotiated during the 1930's. Hitler was firbombing London. Hitler had to be taken out. I don't condemn FDR for not seeking on- going negotiations with either Hitler or Hirohito. The best thing about climate change is that it may unite us around a cause bigger than our egos.- Uh, so would alien invasion or an impending asteroid impact. I sure hope we don't have to wait for any of these things before we see a little global unity. Pacifism, carried to an extreme, can be a little silly. Mike Mike Hitler was helped by very prominent Americans such as Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh and Prescott Bush. We all share in the ignonimity for ignoring the plight of others until it got to be too late. |
