Default A CALL TO ACTION: Help Us Fight the Talk Radio Censorship Tricks

Coming Through Obama’s Bureaucratic Back Door

I hope you all had a great 4th of July. I also hope you had some
patriotic renewal and re-connection to the unique freedoms that we
enjoy as Americans — for now.

We’ve been reporting that many of these freedoms are under attack by
Obama, Pelosi and Reid, who want to kill Talk Radio. They said so
during the elections and transition, but they realized they were
tripping alarms when they ran their mouth – so they stopped talking.

Now they’ll be using subversive, back-door bureaucratic tactics. They
imposed a gag order on Genachowski, their nominee for FCC Chairman,
preventing him from talking substance during his confirmation hearing
– a Democratic love fest. Then, to stay under the radar, Harry Reid
maneuvered Genachowski’s confirmation through the Senate – WITHOUT
EVEN A VOTE!

Get used to it. Al Franken has arrived to give Harry Reid an automatic
Super Majority in the Senate and Obama has a majority on the FCC. Here
is what’s next:

Strike 1 – the FCC Diversity Sub-Committee will start writing
regulations to redistribute station ownership to minorities;

Strike 2 – the Congress and FCC will begin writing rules for “Local
Content” requirements, to force radio coverage of left wing views –
even if there is scant listener interest for it in local communities;

Strike 3 – Democrats in Congress will start writing new legislation
taxing radio spectrum to pay for Obama’s socialized medicine program.

.... and Talk Radio is OUT. The mainstream media won’t bring you this
news because they can’t afford reporters to cover it, don’t understand
the nuance, or are too busy cutting their own deals.

But at UnFairAir – we’ll get the word out. We have the tools: the
Internet and radio. Let’s use them.

Sorry for the bad news on the threats to freedom of speech – after a
holiday where we celebrate freedom. But there you have it. Please get
the word out.

In the meantime, stay tuned.

Regards,

Roger Hedgecock

Yep, they have been talking about it on WLW
and on 550. I wonder why there are all these
posts on Sarah in here, but not a peep from
anyone in a ahem RADIO GROUP?

Everyone is taking their shots at Palin in here (and she's
gone) but no one is saying anything about the
person they voted for wanting to put the stop
on free speech.

- Only in Amerika.
- Gotta love it, I know I do. :-)

I got an email from a friend asking me if I really
thought "they" were going to put a stop to talk
radio.

Just to clear up what I meant. I didn't mean that
Messiah and Company was going to completely
put the screws to talk radio. That would be too
obvious.

But I do believe that they will in some way let these
radio stations and radio personalities know "that
enough is enough" and ultimately threaten them
with fines to the point that it isn't feasible for the radio station
to continue to let their "personalities"
say what they want.

I also feel that it is eventually going to happen
with shortwave radio, actually I think they will
get it before the regular BCB stations do.

Case in point. When you listen to Alex Jones
or a Steve Quayle, they HAVE TO tone it
wayyyy down when they go on Coast to Coast.
I know George told Alex that, after that one show
where Alex got on a roll and George basically
couldn't control him. Same with Quayle, I know
George has told both of them to bring it down a
couple of notches or he wouldn't have them on his show anymore.

I really believe that either during or before Barry leaves office that
talk radio as we know it now,
will be a thing of the past. We shall see, should
be fun either way.

Because it IS a ahem radio group, not a political one, and WLW is not on
shortwave. Also, most of us have killfiled the political whack jobs and you
are next in line. Bye.

Apparently you do not know much about this
group. This group isn't just for shortwave, it is
for and about the entire radio spectrum (which
I have a hunch you already knew, but you're just being an ass).

It is also about antennas. It is about accessories
that will or could enhance you listening abilities.
The politics (unfortunately at times) get thrown
in here also. If no one spoke about it, I know I
wouldn't. Buh bye. :-)

Sorry Cuhulin (about the talk radio), I hope you are right, if not for
anything
else, just for the freedom of speech thing. But I
do know someone that has been in the sales/marketing (don't know which
one for sure) dept.
at WLW for at least 13-14 yrs. and many are
definitely concerned (according to him) from the rumblings of
management.

Hopefully, there is nothing behind it in the future.

In response to Billy Mays, that was a great tribute
show IMO (Thurs. night). I had/have noticed that some of his
infomercials are still playing and there
was an actual article about it on my home page
that explained it somewhat. I wrote about a part
of that article and what it said in my calendar.

It said on July 20th (which is a Monday) that
posthumously they are going to release to all
the cable stations, an infomercial about a
product that Billy pitched. If I remember right,
it is something along the line of the "Mighty Mend-It."

That show on Billy was something else IMO, he said
all the work he had done over the years and struggling, that
financially his life basically started
when he was fourty one years old. Great show,
hopefully Sully can pull it together and keep it
going.
