Well, then, I guess I'll get a 50,000 watt transmitter, and
open up on 1170 AM, and ask for a smokey bear check? Would I use alkalines, or NiMH? -- Christopher A. Young Learn more about Jesus www.lds.org .. "dave" wrote in message ... There was a CB-er, this is in the early 70's, in St Charles, Missouri, who used a highly modified Collins transmitter, with about 5kw output on the band. They called him "Echo" because he had a Echoplex on everything that he put into his rig. He transmitted music, sound effects. Harrassed truckers. Charley came to town and that's all she wrote. I've got audio of him somewhere. Not pretty. |
