F-5 Tornado Vicksburg,Mississippi

You think the State where you live doesn't get tornados?
Keep on clickin and readin.

There was a good program on the Discovery Science channel last night
about the Dust Bowl.

We get several each year in California, but in the general absence of
the big midwestern-style supercells, fed by Gulf moisture and
catalyzed by Great Plains lows and Texas drylines, that power the
mighty Plains whirlywinds, ours are usually pretty weak. An F1
tornado here is a big deal.
