I'll bet they laugh all the way to the bank. Well, you may be right...or you may be wrong. You know these bulbs are -identical- how? You've seen the specs for both brands, you've done a comparative chemical analysis of the gas and the phosphor coating inside the bulbs, right? Oh, what's that you say? They both -look- like CFLs so they must be identical? On 5/31/2010 1:05 PM, Bill Baka wrote: You want to analyze them be my guest. ME analyze them? YOU were the one shooting from the hip when you said they were -identical-. I just wanted YOU to defend YOUR statement. I am still interested to know why you think they are identical. I'm still not going to take the damn things apart and have the wife in a fit. As an aside, got a friend that bought both the Chinese junkers and GE. He claimed the warranty support for GE was great and non-existent for the Chinese. On 5/31/2010 1:05 PM, Bill Baka wrote: Whoa, big surprise there. Be still my trembling heart. Well, maybe it -was- a big surprise to you, as you blamed it on CEO greed...overlooking the fact that the price differential could be related to a good warranty versus a poor or no warranty. (Not that we don't have an overabundance of corporate greed). :-) Tell that to the employees at Kodak who lost their jobs when the film got too expensive and they moved to Mexico. Now the film division is going down anyway. That corporate manager might not get his Porsche. Do I feel sorry for the executive?? Hardly. |

I think the most interference is between 10 and 100 kHz. Beyond that it drops off quickly. Never been an issue here. I can get KUZZ 24/7. |
