Saves in the size of the Copper Wiring and Reduces the Weight of the Car/Truck : Because the LED uses less Current for the same 12 VDC then the equivalent Lumen's Rated Incandescent Bulbs. |

Regards, JS LEDs don't seem very cost effective, and the energy usage seems comparable to CFLs. Regards, JS I have had 20+ LED Lights for 120-VAC with the Standard USA E27-Base. Only 4~6 have lasted more than a Year with out going blank or loosing half the individual LEDs in the Bulbs. Some of these LEDs cost in the $20~$30 IMHO - LEDs are still : Not Ready for Prime Time. These Mushroom CFLs rated at 120 Watts Light http://i00.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/289..._anion_CFL.jpg Output {=Lumens} and use only 30 Watts of Power are Good for Reading Lights {Daylight} and Shine http://cgi.ebay.com/370294601763 Well in most places a 100 Watt Incandescent Bulb was used before. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001A0GFCG/ |
