Arnie Coro is a ham. Has anyone ever worked him?

I think he primarily works CW. His call is CO2KK. I did hear him once
around 14.320 SSB. He called CQ and a couple people called him back
including me and he came back with something about losing propagation.
So maybe downtown Havana is fairly noisy or he wasn't interested in a
pile-up.

Sure. I've worked plenty of Cuban hams, but not Arnie Coro.

Arnie Coro said tonight that his favorite band for low power
communications right now is 40 meters.

Well, a better question might be, "Would it be wise for Cuban citizens
to communicate with USA amateurs?"

I would imagine, a Cuban citizen would be wise to speak carefully, to
you, even if you sent them a cell phone card ... or even chatted them by
email ...
