officer, including the president, ordered me to fire on AMERICAN
CIVILIANS, I would first turn the weapon on the ordering officer ...

the moral makeup, are of the caliber which I have taken an oath to
preserve ... we need more ... are you, least of all ...

Somebody rescheduled this exercise to occur 3 weeks early that year.
There was confusion as a result that morning. You can hear recordings
(likely UHF AM not HF).
