And why do the Hopi people have been living high in the mountains, but
are still fearing of the Next Coming Deluge?

They don't live in the mountains. They live on a high flat space called
the Navajo Plateau. It was once the bottom of an ancient sea.

Colorado Plateau is 5000ft.+ so I presume it qualifies to be called as
a mountain(ous) region. 300 million years ago was trulyway before the
traditional Deluge, recorded in the ancient legends of every nation on
Earth. And that occured ca. 11 to 12 thousand ears ago; if I'm
wrong ,please correct me .

Sea levels rose about 70 feet or so when the ice started melting after
the last glacial period. The Rockies rose before then.- Hide quoted text -
