Again, from Wkipedia: "The Commonwealth Fund, in its annual survey, "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall", compares the performance of the health care systems in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and the U.S. Its 2007 study found that, although the U.S. system is the most expensive, it consistently under-performs compared to the other countries.[15] One difference between the U.S. and the other countries in the study is that the U.S. is the only country without universal health insurance coverage. The Commonwealth Fund completed its thirteenth annual health policy survey in 2010.[16] A study of the survey "found significant differences in access, cost burdens, and problems with health insurance that are associated with insurance design".[16] Of the countries surveyed, the results indicated that people in the United States had more out-of-pocket expenses, more disputes with insurance companies than other countries, and more insurance payments denied; paperwork was also higher although Germany had similarly high levels of paperwork.[16]" I presume that this information is available in more detail, and I'll keep looking. |

Nah, it was the likes of Barney (give it to me in the ass) Frank. Not true. It was actually a handful of people at a handful of institutions making greedy (and stupid) decisions. 2 acts of Congress, criminal behavior by Moody's and S&P and some below the radar "waivers" created a derivatives bubble. Barney Frank just provided the bubble material. Phil Gramm, Alan Greenspan, Clinton, Geightner, etc. all went crazy reversing the laws Roosevelt put in place. This is what happens when business is deregulated. These people crashed the economy on purpose so they could destroy the New Deal. You are a mentally ill clown 'tard and it is you who need the voluntary counselling. Now go take your meds, Rickmers, and shut the hell up! When are you going to offer something of substance instead of insults? As soon as you and Rickmers offer something of substance rather than your obviously Liberal/Democrat/Marxist/Socialist twaddle. |

The Fund is currently led by president Karen Davis, a nationally recognized progressive economist.... "Progressive", the new code word for Liberal/Democrat/Marxist/Socialist. I've been spot on so far, and you continue to be wrong and against the people. http://www.wordspy.com/words/starvethebeast.asp It's a Conservative thing - people don't count, only $$$$$$$$$$$. Actually the people do count, and the people have spoken at the polling place. The people want change in Wisconsin, and they'll get it. The people want change in Indiana, and they'll get it. The people want change in Ohio, and they'll get it. The people want change in Michigan, and they'll get it. The list goes on. Twenty six states have sued the Federal Government over health care, and they'll get change. A Federal Judge has ruled 'Obamacare' to be unconstitutional, yet the Obama Regime continues to implement it. Boy, there's gonna be some change coming. A prominent talk show host this afternoon intimated that before this is all over there'll be some bloodshed. As I stated a while ago, the revolution has begun, the people have woken up, and are not going to be bullied by union thugs, not going to be bullied by Liberal/Democrat/Marxist/Socialist politicians, and are not going to be bullied by Big Government. |

In casual conversations, I've heard talk of revolution, if there isn't an accounting after the election. At his victory gathering in Grant Park the first words out of Obiteme's mouth were, "Change has come to America." Prophetic. Profound. Sorry, Dave is incorrect. You need to get your information somewhere other than your DNC handlers. And YOU need to get your information from somewhere other than Rush 'Oxycontin' Limpballs, the Nazi gas bag that gets paid $50 million dollars to shill for Big Business. ;-) C'mon Steve, you're just a little working class guy like the rest of us. Why are you getting in bed with the greedy rich *******s? P.S. I truly don't remember the country being *this* divided during the reign of Bush Senior OR Clinton. It seemed to start with Bush Jr, possibly because of his two wars. And make no mistake, this country is truly, seriously divided, probably more so than any time since the Civil War. Heck of a job, George W. P.P.S. It does indeed look like actual class warfare -- and Wisconsin is the opening battle. Speaking of Wisconsin, why doesn't Governor Walker man up and have the balls to admit his main goal is to bust the unions. 1) Walker said it is (and continues to be) economic. 2) The unions said they would give him the economic concessions he wanted. 3) Walker turned them down cold. Ergo, it -wasn't- economic after all and Walker is not being honest with us (as in lying). Per back issues of the Milwaukee Journal, when Walker was the county exec for Milwaukee County, he fired all the union security guards and replaced them with guards from Wackenhut, a BRITISH company (thanks for getting rid of those Wisconsin jobs). Then an independent auditor ruled that he illegally fired the original guards and that they had to be re-hired, with back pay, costing the county $500,000. I'm seeing a pattern he Walker seems to have a major league grudge against unions. Walker also said to the 14 Dems in the Wisconsin legislature "Come back and we will debate it". Then he said the whole issue is totally non-negotiable. So, Guv, if it's *non-negotiable*, what's to debate, hmmm? And while we are on the subject of Wisconsin politicians putting their foot in their mouths, Rep. Paul Ryan went on national TV and said the people in Madison were RIOTING. Either he is incompetent (does not understand the meaning of the word "rioting") or is just flat out lying. If he watched even 5 minutes of the Madison TV coverage, he would have seen it was about as peaceful as it could be. |

Palin and her cross hairs must have been more than you were letting on. Once the fruitcakes on the fringes start shooting at each other, democracy in the US will cease to be...at least what little there is left of it after the Patriot Act was brought in. Rumour has it that the Act was composed and complete, ready to go, some months before the Twin Towers. mike -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJNZE9tAAoJEJXfKw5kUPt7YpEIAJBOXHIpuU lDXmO4S5GCIi9q jma/r6kmfBG9UK1WeLJG6CkAHW8Bp0oi8tgifQpNEGfZxSYefN1MI3 EDrLVhJDDb 6KBbzJdCl0sDspqZdF+1cPu6TuJ7+KudclQUGPhkhUTZJaV3yw cxvoC9hcrurjMg N8NWDvjqTSqeybqvX4LQid74Dw8ENCwDjT33T9sFTb2N73i9Kk JWXWfPDEucg+GX SNh81GRckt1aHl03dQPlnmEbQtuRkqsB90MnzrK7Dnr+X1vzql aJhCW3/kqB4aTI gacM6kbaMrMhZ+UQOch80CURpj87WXLeboqdMp3t0QUr5+DggK +nQYjQtfImF3g= =YplB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
