You are correct: No contesting allowed on the WARC bands...but he did NOT say that the 12 meter station was in the contest. No *contest* stations would be on the WARC bands because when you sent your log in the log checkers would bounce it a mile high. To say nothing of the fact that 99.99999999% of the hams know there is no contesting allowed on the WARC bands and would not be trying to run the contest on those bands in the first place. |
