Default New SWL Desktop Receiver

Any right to listen is overridden by various national regulators such as the
FCC in America.
Consider the following Icom receiver:

http://www.icomamerica.com/en/produc...fications.aspx

Amazing specs with an amazing price ($13k). Frequency coverage from 0.005 -
3335 MHz.
However; cell bands (822-851 and 867-896) are blocked in the USA, and
in France; coverage over 30Mhz is limited to ham bands and FM broadcast.
Unbelieveable.
Incroyable.
