Default The Day the Music Died

In the early morning hours of February 3 1959, outside of Mason City, Iowa, a
small plane crashed.

We will always remember Buddy Holly, and the others who were killed in the
crash during a snowstorm.

Holly had a dozen or more hits. I can think of 3 monsters from
Valenzuela; The Big Bopper was a one hit wonder, admittedly, but
Richardson was a pioneer regional record producer in SE Texas and had a
great future when killed.

Hello, and who's the "we"? If you mean boomers like myself, yes. Not
necessarily so with Gen-Xers and Millenials. I shall always remember
Annette Funicello ;-) Sincerely,

Somebody lost a coin flip to see who would get the last seat on the plane that day. Waylon Jennings was amongst those left to ride the bus to Fargo instead of flying with Buddy Holly et.al. Jennings jokingly said "I hope the plane crashes". His words haunted him to the day he died.
