We will always remember Buddy Holly, and the others who were killed in the
crash during a snowstorm.

Somebody lost a coin flip to see who would get the last seat on the plane that day. Waylon Jennings was amongst those left to ride the bus to Fargo instead of flying with Buddy Holly et.al. Jennings jokingly said "I hope the plane crashes". His words haunted him to the day he died.

Should read: The Day ROCKABILLY Music Died

Valenzuela was Cal/Mex, more Doo-Wop than rockabilly. Holly and Bopper were Texans with more connection to Western Swing than anything else.

The rain drizzled in on my old weatherstripping today. My pretzels also
got drizzled and became uneatable. Has that ever happened to you?
