IMHO, "Godwin's Law" is a bunch of bunk. There ARE (occasional) times
when a comparison to a historical figure (yes, even Hitler) is
legitimate, "Godwin" notwithstanding.

In 1932, 1933, the people *loved* Hitler -- but ask them how happy they
were with him in the spring of 1945 when Germany was in ruins.

Analogy: For whatever reason, people *love* Trump now, falling all over
themselves to vote Trump in. If/when he gets in office, will they still
