Virtually every single poll tracking President Donald Trump's approval
rating showed the figure plummeting Monday morning, well below the margin of error compared to the rising level of support for impeachment. The results follow Trump's controversial decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris climate accord; the ongoing investigation into his campaign’s possible ties to the Kremlin is also a factor. The president's approval rating dipped from nearly 42 percent to just 36 percent over the weekend, according to a Gallup daily tracking poll published Monday. Trump's declining popularity is inching closer toward his all-time low of 35 percent as president in March, when Gallup had the president’s approval at just 35 percent. What's more, nearly 43 percent of American voters support the idea of beginning the official impeachment process for Trump, according to a Politico/Morning Consult poll published Wednesday. More people want to impeach you than approve of you? Bwahahahahaha... Heck of a job, trumpo! trump -- an embarrassment to the nation, a danger to the world. |

And all the polls said Hillary Clinton was going to win the Presidential election in a land slide. Like the main stream media, national polls have been totally discredited.
Pay enough money and you are able to find a pollster to support whatever agenda you want to promote. It's so easy to manipulate and manufacture the result you want it is ridiculous. Just phrase the questions right and contact the correct demographics. The Political Experts Don’t Trust Polls http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/20...s-how-to-tell/ Celinda Lake, a pollster, political consultant and president of Lake Research Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based polling firm, says polling has seen “kind of a steady decline. It’s getting harder to reach people. It’s also harder to get them to cooperate.” Michael Traugott is a University of Michigan political science professor who specializes in polling and opinion surveys and he has stated that polls cannot be trusted for a variety of reasons and that he is in agreement with Gallup when they say the industry is in need of a “major overhaul”. "What many of these experts are referring to is the death of the legitimacy of public opinion polls due to insufficient sample size. When polls do not have enough participants, the results cannot be considered to be valid. The way that polls cover up this deficiency is to report an official sounding statistic that gives fake legitimacy to the results (e.g. the poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3%). In actuality, the legitimate poll would state something like “the statistical confidence level with regard to the accuracy of this poll is 95% or higher”. The representation of this notion is usually expressed as a level of confidence and it looks like this: P=.05. If you don’t see this statistic, the poll, on its face, is unreliable." |

I'll guess Dishonest Don is safe from impeachment as long as his
approval numbers are above 30%, maybe even 25%. Even at 25%, there's enough hard core TRUMPers to pose a serious primary threat to a Republican who abandons the Goofball-in-Chief. By the way, I don't picture the typical hard core TRUMPer as some worshipful, drooling dimwit who really believes that The Magnificent TRUMP is a patriotic GENIUS who will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. I think the typical TRUMPer is someone who feels the system has changed to their detriment. And it's not like they don't have a point. Just consider how little inflation corrected wages have increased since the stagflation days, even though worker productivity has soared. Meanwhile, the stock market is up by mulitples and the CEO is raking it in. I don't see why the typical TRUMPer would much care that TRUMP is a liar, a crook and a buffoon. Although TRUMP sets the high water mark for mendacious crooked buffonery, isn't the distinction from other politicians just a matter of degree? Alot of people think there needs to be a monkey wrench thrown into the system, and The Great and Powerful TRUMP is their monkey wrench. |
