![]() "Telamon" wrote in message ... This situation certainly does not look good for RFPI. I don¹t understand their argument about free speech being a reason for them to stay. The problem is property usage. They are there under a lease agreement with the University of Costa Rica and the current administration wants that lease to end. They will have to go. -- Telamon Ventura, California I heard RFPI's update on the situation. James Latham is still using the "censorship" claim without any evidence, presumably even after he's had time to cool off. Censorship? How is this different from an everyday eviction in which the tenant hasn't paid the rent, or is a pain in the ass or the property owner simply has different plans for the property? He wants us to send him money for lawyers. I suppose contributors would be interested in the facts of the dispute, even if it's only from one side. They did list the wonderful achievements and trivia of RFPI. Mostly it was a reading of when particular programs were first broadcast. Perhaps their lawyers will come up with a more convincing case before the court date. Frank Dresser |
