A Black-List Burning for Bush: The Unreported Story of How They Fixed the
Vote in Florida

Do a Google search on "Ralph Boyd" sometime, Skippy. He's a
Clinton-appointed Assistant Attorney General, who stayed on with the Bush
Administration, and was the one who investigated Palast's "fixed election"
in Florida.

Mr. Boyd, who FYI is himself black, found that Palast was, in fact, LYING.

Clarence Thomas is also African American and a poster child for
affirmative action, as is Dubbya, votes consistently for any issue
with a whiff of affirmative action, and, further, Thomas is widely
recognized for his lack of independent voice and "me too" voting with
Scalia.

You are proposing that Boyd's race means he would stand up for
disenfranchised voters in Florida? A specious argument. And further,
you assert Boyd's "findings" include direct evidence that Palast is
lying? Where are your sources?

Here is the most common assessment of Boyd:

"Ralph F. Boyd, assistant attorney general for civil rights, told the
Senate Judiciary Committee that there were "very few voters who
actually were prevented from voting." But that doesn't square with the
numbers of complaints filed by Floridians. For instance, the Justice
Department logged 11,000 complaints from mostly African-American
voters, yet determined only 14 warranted an investigation. "

Pardon the mis-syntax from editing: obviously Thomas votes to OPPOSE
affirmative action wherever he finds it.

LOL. "The most common assessment", he says. The he turns right around and
admits that he's afraid to post the source of his quote.

I would be, too.

Pardon the mis-syntax from editing:

So you admit cooking the article, *after* refusing to cite the source?

Uh, next?

What a rhetorical jerk you are, Mister Pineapple. Typical of many on
the I-know-best-for-you right, your ability to bluster with words is
more important than any underlying facts. You set up your own straw
dogs and then focus the attention there, rather than on anything I
actually said or quoted. I did not cook anything and never said I
did. I was correcting my own typo. And how could I "refuse" to cite
sources when they were not requested. It was you I asked for a
reference . . .

And as for my references, I assumed, based on your own noise, that you
were the Google-mister. Here is my reference:

http://www.progressive.org/Media%20P.../mpbj1102.html

Here's another exact quote from the article:

"The purging of eligible voters seems to be where most of the fraud
took place in Florida. For example, in an in-depth study by the Palm
Beach Post, at least 1,100 eligible voters, incorrectly listed as
felons, were prevented from casting their ballot. However, 1,100 votes
seems trivial compared to findings of a recently released book."

What about your reference, where Ralph E. Boyd "proves" that Greg
Palast lied?

This, of course, is the Pineapple King arguing with his own fantasies.
I am, indeed, deeply concerned for Pineapple's mental well-being. If
his delusions come from an external source, such as reading Ann
Coulter, then there is hope. If, however, and this is my real
concern, he is able to find "admissions" and "fears" in my writing,
then there is twisted torment in that poor soul, and he may be beyond
help.

My detailed reply is posted following his earlier playtime, where he
posed a personal attack of his fantasy of me, rather than the
substance of what I said.
