Thanks to all for the input. One last question if I may: How would
each of you recommend seeking a repair service for the 2010? Is it as simple as browsing a few directories of electronics/radio repairers, is it better to find a Sony repair dealer (there is one here in NYC) or is this a case of "The only one I'd trust my 2010 to is Bob in Pocatello, ID. He's repaired over 300!!!"...? And, from now on I'll be nicer to my A/C connection. -- JLM |

Subject: If these are your priorities, which radio is for you?
From: (Jennifer Michael) - SIGH !! - R-75 with DSP & Kiwa Fidelity Mods, - GOOD external antenna; - Good external speaker system or headphones.. - You'll have ~$1,000 left over to play with Harvey ( Shortwave Enthusiast & Staunch , inflexible Supporter of Birth Control ) |
