Tragically no shortwave. It would be nice to have about 3 shortwave
bands added to this rig. Say 5 mHz to 18 mHz. With Sangeans
shortwave experience it could be a very nice radio. A major step up
from the Grundig Classic 960.

I think they'd clean house on the entry level tabletop market if put the guts of a 909 in a cabinet like this with a nice tuning knob and a so-239 or BNC antenna connector.
