I though the DX-398's stock-internal SW memories could not be erased
or changed. Somehow, I've accidently managed to erase/change a bunch
of the stock memories in my unit.

And how do I correct this? Removing the batteries and/or using the
reset switch do not reset the memories.

Thanks!

Maybe you did not wait long enough.

I had changed all of the memories in mine but last week somehow the
batteries managed to get shook up on a flight and disconnected. When I
pushed them back into place and turned it on I was back to all the
original stock memories. Now I am faced with reprogramming the whole
thing - a real pain.
