You probably have just overlooked something in the switching from AC
to DC. I'll bet you even have it working correctly by the time you read this! Good luck!On Fri, 24 Oct 2003 17:24:54 -0500, "Jenni_is_a_Whore" wrote: I got my Satellit 800 back from R.L. Drake today with a brand new encoder. But now, for some reason, I can't get the damn thing to run off the batteries. They are in there correctly (I know I killed a lot of brain cells in college, but still...) I had no problems with the batteries before I sent it off. Could Drake have screwed up something related to the battery power supply while fixing the encoder? Also, the "." key is sticking a little bit too, which I also don't remember happening before I sent it off. Does replacement of the encoder require some work with the keypad? Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. |
