Thanks for the referral !
unfortunately, the DX-394 has a short tuning shaft so unless the new tuning knob has an extended receptacle to extend a bit into the radio the knob won't stay on. the 394 shaft is about 1/4 inch too short for my knob or for some of the other knobs I have tried. I have not been able to come up with a STABLE way to extend the shaft. Mike "Stinger" wrote in message ... Probably the *best* way to do it is to completely change the knob. That way, you'll still have the old knob handy if you need to put the radio back into the carrying case. You can pick up some really snazzy knobs he http://home.att.net/~maghakian/wsb/h...ome.html-.html -- Stinger wrote in message news:2jKyb.273684$275.968426@attbi_s53... anyone know how to add some weight to this knob for a better feel? thanks jack |
