How do I tune in on radio Australia. I saw a post by KB that said S-9. what
does that mean?

You will find here a list of frequencies you can tune to for Radio
Australia.

http://www.ccrane.com/shortwave_frequencies.htm

This site, http://ac3l.com/smeter.htm, as mentioned by Steve Holland,
MI, will provide you with basic information about reading or how to
read an S-Meter.

An S-Meter is to a radio as a speedometer is to a motor vehilce, so to
speak.

Good luck.
