After reading your post, I'm going to
compare my analog Sony SRF-59 to my
digital PPL Sangean PPL DT-200V using
the local FM NPR station as a broadcast
source.

How many hours do you get out of a
set of AA batteries on your Sangean
DT 200? Do you use headphones or
the speaker?

THe SRF-59 goes for over 100 hours on
FM using a single AA battery, so I use
it at work.
