IS,
It is my understanding that by the year 2020 the actual majority of the so called Global Warming "Green House Gases" will be generated by three countries: China, India and Indonesia. NOT from the Automobiles or Power Plants in the USofA but simply from the common people of those countries burning carbon fuels to heat their homes and cook their food. People Gota Live... Or would you suggest that we start with THOSE PEOPLE ! * Shall They Freeze ? * Shall They Starve ? * Shall They Simply Be Eliminated ? All in the 'name' of "Protecting the Planet" from People ! Got My 'Inverted "CK" Antenna' On ~ RHF .. .. = = = "Ian Smith" = = = wrote in message ... It amazes me that so many apparently quite intelligent people can completely embrace the idea of greenhouse gas emissions having no effect at all on the global climate. Variations occur naturally over time; that has never been in dispute. However, the physical properties of CO2 are very well known, and we're adding a lot to the atmosphere every year. It would be nice if some natural process is cancelling out the effects of all that extra CO2. I hope it is, for our sake, but having a closed mind to the issue isn't going to make it go away. Anyway, does anyone know if higher average temperatures will have any effect on shortwave propagation? Or other frequencies, like Sporadic 'E' in the summer? .. .. |
