I've had a Sangean ATS-803A for over 8 years now and it has performed
flawlessly. I use it almost everyday.

I've seen very few posts on this group about QC problems with the
Sangean-909 or the DX-398 (clone). There are quite a few mod's for these
two receivers which can improve their performance but that's not the
same as QC or reliability problems.

I have had a Sangean 606A for about 9 years;
it works flawlessly. Got the C Crane Mods on it.

Put a long wire / AN-LP1 on it & it'll pick up " everything "
I take it with me everywhere.

What a sweetie !

Will check out the Sangean 636 when it pokes it's head out of the sand.
( The 909A low price indicates a new model wil be appearing soon )
