Default DE1102 voltage adapter question

Just wondering if anyone who ordered a DE-1102 from liypn has experienced
any trouble with the 110 - 220 V convertor, specifically overheating? I
noticed (after bidding and paying, of course) that the one that he shows in
his auctions for DE-1102's is a 30 W convertor. However, in the chinese
manual for the DE-1102, it mentions 300 mA (i.e. 66 W at 220 V). I _think_
that that is only when charging. Has anyone had these things burn up on
them while they were charging the battery?

I probably should have purchased from the other guy selling DE-1102's, it
looks like he gives a 70 W adapter. Then again, I haven't received mine
yet so I can only go by the auction pictures.

They're expressing voltage in ma now, huh?

The 300ma rating applies to the output voltage of the supply. It probably

uses
about two watts so you shouldn't have heating issues.

I got my 1102 from Liypn and I've never had any overheating issues with the
charger. Nearly every transformer I have gets warm while charging. If
there's a problem with the one from Liypn, it would have to be how heavy the
220 and 110 are together and they sag down from the wall a bit. Not enough
to be a problem, and I don't leave them plugged in except while I'm charging
the radio. If I was going to operate the radio full time on AC (I couldn't
imagine why anyone would), then maybe I'd try to find another adaptor at
Radio Shack or something.

I have only had to use the adapter that I received from Lypin two times;
once for 6 hours and once for 3 hours. No problems at all either time.
I'm confident that you will enjoy your Degen 1102 as much as I enjoy mine.
And I would not hesitate to order from Lypin again.
