I read more at the link you gave me Frank. They were having a ball with them
allright. Its kinda like letting the fox watch the hen house though. It
doesn't surprise me at all. But like jd said "they stepped in it" now their

Yeah, it looks like all the media coverage is rooted in General Taguba's
report. If I'm getting the dates from the news story correctly, General
Karpinski was suspended in January. So none of the prision pictures and
stories relate to anything which has happened recently.

This is one of those catch 22 issues. On one hand you have to go against
this behavior because of the political aspect and on the other it was
performed on those that would kill us if they had a chance. I don't condone
it either but it doesn't bother me that they were humiliated. I could have
turned a blind eye if I was there. I guess it my Viking blood. :)
