So what if VOA doesn't broadcast directly to North America!?! I can hear VOA
regularly in my part of Canada and I can tell you that my location in North America isn't a target area for most shortwave stations. Radio Australia doesn't broadcast to North America yet plenty of shortwave listeners in North America do hear the station. Shortwave transmissions don't halt at their target areas.
