He never said "guns are more important" than anything. He said he
appreciates the second amendment. Which in our constitutional
republic, gives one the right to own and use (within legal
constraints) firearms.

Questions, Professor:

1. With political corruption as rampant as it is today, would you
want to remove the second amendment from the Constitution?

2. How long would democracy survive if this ceased to be a
constitutional republic?
