That's what I've been trying to tell these folks for a while now. There is
no need to bother with
the license. We have enough governmont intervention with stuff.
I can see the need to be licensed to operate an automobile or fly an
airplane but
to sit in my home and talk on a radio....**** that. Don't need no stinkin'
ticket.
I can transmit and recieve morse code clearly. Have been for years.
I stay polite and on topic on the radio. I am every bit as knowledgeable
and
professional as ticketed hams. You could never tell us apart. I too, have
about 1000
QSL cards. In spite of what people here say, you DO get them sent to your
address.

It's all a bunch of poo. Just get your gear, learn the ropes properly and
transmit away.
Just do it properly.
