"John Cattley" wrote An excellent DRM (and not only)
receiver is the WinRadio WR-G303i (no modification whatsoever required). It is also currently the only receiver which has its own (native) DRM software developed for it. There's a guy reporting on the forum at www.drmrx.org with a 303i and a 60 year old RCA AR-88D tube radio to which he has attached a SA612 downconverter from Sat-Service Scheider. Guess which one wins? The AR-88D achieves higher max and avg DRM SNR by ~8dB and ~6dB respectively. In one example this resulted in 99.1% vs 80.5% successfully decoded audio over a 1-hour period. He gets consistently better results with the AR-88D regardless of using a Wellbrook LA5030 loop or a long wire with either radio. http://www.drmrx.org/forum/showthrea...0504#post10504 Tom |
