No sign of them on 11820 either 05:00 to 05:20 UTC. They were on 9885 last night so I guess things got fixed. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

Ended up listening to the BBC for a while until New Zealand went to 11820. Sounding pretty good there. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

New Zealand on 17675 and Australia on 17795 and 17715 all the usual strong signal levels. 17795 is supposed to be toward North America and 17715 is to Asia but it always comes in better than 17795 for me. Do other people in North America experience that? -- Telamon Ventura, California |

We hope to resume normal service by 0800 UTC [2000 UTC] RNZI Internet services are not affected. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

This time of year (at least up here) 15 and 17 MHz get very sensitive to the space weather and often go away not long after sunset. Friday, at 05:00 or thereabouts, there wasn't anything from the south Pacific but RNZI at 11820 and RA's Grandstand on 9660. The 15 MHz signals were fine on Wednesday. What a difference a couple days can make. 17795 is supposed to be toward North America and 17715 is to Asia but it always comes in better than 17795 for me. Do other people in North America experience that? What time? At 00:00, 17795 has been about S3, (even with a new antenna wire and treating my R-1000's antenna attenuator switch with Stabilant/Tweek contact enhancer) and 17715 was (under S1) in the mud.
