Also try to remember that this is the most contentious election in recent US
history and that many of us, on both sides, feel that the impact of this
election will be truly global. This NG has a long history of spirited political
debate and that history is hard to abandon.

So, as an American, I apologize to you non-Americans for our political posts,
but I sincerely hope you realize that constant rebukes on your part may
actually be flaming the frequency of political posts. Americans DO bristle at
constantly being told what we should do.

Nov 2 isn't that far away.

But that is what makes it great, that we have the freedom to air our
views whatever they are and debate them back and forth.

But this a *shortwave radio* newsgroup not a politcial debate/agenda newsgroup.
I delete over 75% of the post because they are non-radio related, I used to
post and read this group every day but it's always the same thing. Trouble
makers won :-(

I'd have to say that you lost. It doesn't take much effort to weed through whatever
you don't wish to read.

You might try some actual contributions too, never hurts. All take, and no give
never works in any endeavour.
